    In this article we only intend to give a glimpse of an unknown society in Arona, the “Minerva Center”, which was founded in 1914 and whose purpose was to raise the cultural level of its members, for which it planned to organize conferences, artistic and literary evenings. , among other acts of instruction and recreation. On October 18, its regulations were drafted.

    which on the 30th of that same month were presented to the Civil Government of the province for legalization.On November 15, it was officially established, when its regulations were approved by the Email Marketing List partners, who also elected its first board of directors, which was made up of the following members: president, Mr. Eugenio Meirás Bolaños; vice president.
