Lyudmila Pavlichenko is the first World War II hero that Katyusha is going to meet.
She is introduced in Chapter 2: Battle of Odessa. Lyudmila actually did recruit in order to join the Soviet Army and the dialogue that you are going to experience is close to the real one. The greatest female sniper of all time had 309 confirmed kills during World War II.
In the next versions, Lyudmila is going to have a great representation with a full animation system, capturing every movement of her. Also, she is going to give you quests which have to do with her real story and how she became a sniper.
Chapter 2 is built around Lyudmila Pavlichenko, as the Battle of Odessa was actually her first battle.
Beside Lyudmila Pavlichenko, in our final version of Steam demo you are going to see more Soviet World War II heroes. But those will not come soon. At the moment we need to finish Lyudmila's quests. Players will have the option to either do the quests or skip them. Doing Lyudmila's quests will allow you to use her in battle and also take her with you in the next missions. If you skip any of her quests you won't be able to take her with you. Of course, the Steam demo will have only two levels, so doing Lyudmila's quests does not have any effect in carrying her with you, but it will allow you to see the real deal at the end of Chapter 2.
